The following table shows how to set the range of the SM231 8AI module with the DIP switch. Switches 1, 2 and 3 can select the analog input range. All inputs are set to the same analog input range. In the following table, ON means connection and OFF means no connection. It is important to note that unused DIP switches SW4 ~ SW6 must be set to the OFF position.

[Software Configuration]
For the SM231 8AI× 16-bit analog input module, its reading is in VW, not AIW, the relative position of the module is different, the corresponding address is different. The address calculation formula is as follows:
X (VWx) = slot number × 64 + input channel number × 2
The slot number corresponds to the module's installation location, with the first extension slot next to the CPU being 0, the second extension slot being 1, and so on. There are 8 input channels, from A to G, and the corresponding numbers are 0 to 7.
